River Valley Conservation

The Nature Centre coordinates three primary conservation projects:

  1. Coulee Cleanup

  2. Shoreline Cleanup

  3. Invasive Weed Pulls

Before participating be sure to review and consider the safety information.

Please register so we can coordinate our collective efforts and recognize your volunteer effort. Even if you have already completed a litter cleanup, please register!

Clean Shoreline Community designation crest

Did you know? The City of Lethbridge is a Clean Shoreline Community. We work with the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup to engage more local volunteers. This helps to lessen our impact on the environment and keep it healthy.

Litter is a critical issue facing all Canada's waterways. It has negative impacts on the health and aesthetic of our environment. Litter has no place in our river valley!

You can do your part to keep our city clean. Register for a Coulee Cleanup or Shoreline Cleanup. Help pick up litter left behind in natural spaces!
