Nature Play Fest!
On the second Saturday in June the Nature Centre celebrates Nature Play Fest at Henderson Lake Park!
This annual event provides families with the opportunity to try diverse outdoor activities from kayaking to loose parts play!
Everyone is invited to take part in this outdoor festival that features 20+ play-based activities hosted by local community organizations. Activities are free for everyone to enjoy!
Coulee Cleanup
Join us for the annual launch on Earth Day (April 22) for this made-in-Lethbridge conservation program designed to preserve and protect Lethbridge’s river valley environment by removing garbage and debris from natural areas.
Litter negatively impacts the overall health and aesthetic of our local environment. Our wild neighbours, including plants, mammals, birds, insects, fish, reptiles and amphibians, depend on a healthy ecosystem for their survival. You can do your part to help keep our city clean by registering for Coulee Cleanup and picking up litter left behind in natural spaces!
Spring Nature Fest
As the spring equinox nears, on the third Friday in March, the Nature Centre celebrates Spring Nature Fest! This annual event provides families with the opportunity to enjoy a mix of activities and crafts that celebrate the change of seasons. Celebrate the arrival of spring with free activities for everyone to enjoy throughout the afternoon at the Nature Centre.
Everyone is encouraged to take part in this indoor/outdoor festival that features 10+ activities hosted by local community organizations.
