Big Bird Little Bird

Get outside & explore nature with your preschooler! Children (ages 2-5) and adults discover all that nature has to offer through fun activities, crafts, and games!

These one hour long programs are designed for children and a parent or guardian to participate in the activities together, building confidence, and curiosity about nature.

Fall Schedule (September to November)

  • Thursdays | 9:30am - 10:30am or 11:00am - Noon

  • $15 per course (3 week courses) | New topics each week!

  • Registration Opens July 31, 2026

Winter & Spring Schedule (January to June)

  • Thursdays | 9:30am - 10:30am or 11:00am - Noon

  • $15 per course (3 week courses) | New topics each week!

  • Registration Opens November 2, 2026

Summer Schedule (July & August)

  • Wednesdays | 9:30am - 10:30am or 11:00am - Noon

  • $5 per class | New topics each week!

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 7 days of the class or course start date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received on or after the class or course start date will receive no refund.

Grandparent Special

Get your preschoolers outside exploring nature with a grandparent or grandfriend.

Join Nature Centre staff for a morning of exploration and play once a month.

 Dates:

  • Saturday September 12

  • Saturday October 3

  • Saturday November 7

  • Saturday December 5

Time: 10:00am – 11:00am

Ages 2-5 (must attend with an adult)

Cost: $5 per child per class
