Winter Play Program

The Power of Play - 2 Hours of FUN!
1 hour guided program and 1 hour play stations!

Discover the benefits of play and how local animals use play to develop their skills.

Students will engage in different types of play at a variety of activity stations in our Play Exhibit.

Meets NEW Curriculum Objectives:

  • Grade 2, 3, 4: Science – Problem Solving, Creativity & Design

  • Grade 3, 4: Science – Living Systems

  • Grade 2, 3, 4: Math – Geometry

  • Grade 2, 3, 4: Math – Patterns

June Play Program

Outdoor Play - 1.5 Hours of Outdoor FUN!

Get outside and play this spring! Build, create, and explore with loose parts in the Nature Centre’s outdoor play space.

This program will be facilitated by the Nature Centre’s Education staff with exclusive access to the loose parts Play Pods.

Meets NEW Curriculum Objectives:

  • Kindergarten & Gr. 1: Science – Matter; Energy

  • Gr. 2 & 3: Science – Problem Solving, Creativity, and Design

Available for a limited time only June 2025.

Bookings open October 1st | $65 per class

School Program bookings are required well in advance due to demand for these programs.
