Natural Ink & Dye Making

Join local artist Laurel Scott and discover the basic methods of how to make ink and dye with foraged & cultivated plants.

Description of Class: Explore the ethics of foraging, local plant species, and sustainability in artmaking.

This may be of interest to anyone wanting to learn how to make their own art supplies with a focus on being low-cost, environmentally-friendly, and in relationship with the land around them.

No previous experience necessary. Plant materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring notetaking material, as well as any paper or surface material they would like to paint on.

Excellent for beginners! Ages 16+
