Outdoor Adventure Activities

In an effort to foster more opportunities for self-directed, outdoor activities connecting people to nature, the Nature Centre has installed temporary displays to help activate outdoor spaces!

Signs of Spring!

From April 3 – May 13, 2026 set off on a fun adventure in the Lethbridge Nature Reserve!

Spring is waking up in the River Valley—are you ready to explore?

As you wander Nature Quest Trail, keep your eyes peeled for five special “Signs of Spring” stations. Each sign features a local animal—rabbits, ground squirrels, pheasants, songbirds, and woodpeckers— a fun fact and a mini activity to help you spot how spring shows up in nature.

Grab your walking shoes, follow the signs, and see spring come to life—one discovery at a time!

Perfect for families, friends, and curious explorers of all ages!
