Celebrate the arrival of spring at the Nature Centre!
This free family festival will feature activities for all ages!
Spring Nature Fest offers a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including: scavenger hunts, building challenges, games, and much more!
Spring Nature Fest has something for everyone & provides a great chance to discover all that spring has to offer right in the heart of the city!
The event will take place throughout the afternoon, at no charge, at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre.

Lethbridge Polytechnic – Early Childhood Education:
• Activity: Nature Play Pop Up
• Get outside and play! Join staff and students from Lethbridge Polytechnic – ECE to build, create, and explore with loose parts.

The Galt Museum & Archives and Fort Whoop Up:
• Activity: Rawhide Pendants
• Make your own elk rawhide pendant! Use sinew string and pony beads to build your necklace, then decorate the rawhide for a creative Spring Nature Fest keepsake.

Southern Alberta Art Gallery:
• Activity: Crafternoon Cyanotype Prints
• Meet the bumble bees and other hardworking pollinators in our watershed and find out what they’re gearing up for this spring. Enjoy interactive games, educational displays, and grab some fun handouts to take‑home.

Oldman Watershed Council:
• Activity: Pollinator Playdate
• Join the SAAG for a hands-on cyanotype activity! Learn how you can use the sun to make nature prints throughout the springtime. All materials are provided.
